Karen Mattis made her transition from San Marino, California back to Texas in 2011. Karen Mattis is a native Texan and it was important for her to come back home to her family who live as far south as Brownsville and as far north as Dallas. Karen Mattis got involved with the City of Georgetown and Williamson County as Chair of the Greater Water Committee solving complex issues her community was facing with the delivery of safe reliable water from the 400 miles of territory controlled by the Chisholm Trail Special Utility District (CTSUD). Karen Mattis’ 5-year effort resulted in the successful transfer of assets and liabilities from CTSUD to the City of Georgetown in 2014 and the 400-mile Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) in 2015. Karen Mattis will continue to apply the same level of dedication helping her clients with their real estate needs. Karen Mattis is also proud to be certified on Realty Texas’s Military Rebate Program which rewards 20% of her commissions to our Heroes at close. Karen Mattis’ passion has always been with real estate where she has built custom homes and designed and renovated more than 15 properties in California and Texas.
